Awesome idea! Too bad the minimum quantities are so high. The samplers are a good value. I hope they can build up a larger library to choose from.

Automator
Automator now has a “record” feature, which will be nice to get a quick workflow together. But the best news is the variable support feature for storing values to use in a workflow. Hopefully that can sneak in conditional support before October.
Try to update to WordPress 2.2 the other night. Lost many hours trying to fix my theme. Gave up and rolled back to 2.1.3, I will have to look at finding a 2.2 compatible theme. I haven’t had problems upgrading before. Most of my problems were with sidebar widgets.
Please join me on Mac Day by wearing blue jeans and a black turtle neck. We honor his Steveness by donning his likeness. I will have to adjust for seasonal differences and go with a black T-shirt. I love all the rumors and hope at least have of them are true. One of my predictions that has yet to appear is the re-vamp of the Apple website (www.apple.com), they will finally get rid of the colored tabs and go from a white color scheme to a black one. More inline with the iphone sections.
I created this one the same day as the 30 Boxes Calendar PocketMod, but I was hoping to string out the release dates to make appear like I had a steady stream of development. I did not expect Narendra to respond so quickly.
So here is, just grab the RSS from the to do list popup. Grab the link and replace it your mods.xml and save it.

PocketMod App
Just try to provide the complete set of online calendar and to-do list Pocketmod print modules. This one, like all the others use your RSS feed to get the content.
Use something like this in your “mod.xml”
Get the feed url for you calendar under the SHARE button and get the link for the RSS feed.
For those of you keeping score the list so far:
YALP – Yet Another List PocketMod
When I first started this mod I hit a roadblock, I was using the basic feed, which is worthless [ This has been updated by google ]. Then I found out you can change the link from “basic” to “full”. That gave me some better options, but there are hidden query parameters! I found Google’s calendar api reference page, which gave me the answers I needed.How
to use this PocketMod:
Start by grabbing the url for the xml of the calendar you want to use. Calendar Support
Here are the parameters you need to use:
orderby=starttime
sortorder=ascending
futureevents=true
max-results=10
http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/uo64jt8569g%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic?orderby=starttime&sortorder=ascending&futureevents=true&singleevents=true&max-results=10
(you will need to change the link to your feed url)
With the above parameters this works great. Put this mod next to the Monthly Calendar mod and it works pretty good.
For the sake of completeness, I have created a PocketMod for Remember the Milk. RTM has a some very nice features and the ATOM feed is pretty complete. I had some problems with authentication, I also tried to use https, no luck. So your lists will have to be public.
RTM wishlist: Please make SmartLists publishable. I wanted to tag tasks as “public” and then create a SmartList for that tag to feed to my PocketMod. Read the rest of this entry »
I had played around with Stikkit when I first read about it, but I didn’t really use it until I read Merlin Mann’s post about using it with Quicksilver.
I created a PocketMod for Todo stikkits.
Download the swf file here
Get you api key here: http://www.stikkit.com/api
Just use http://www.stikkit.com/todos.atom?api_key=xxxxx as the source in your xml file (substituting you actual api key for the xxxxx’s)
The feeds are not too useful, the best I could do is make a list of the titles. I think Tada Lists are better suited for pocketmod lists. I filter my stikkit list to show only done items. There is no status available via the feed. Also your stikkits would have to one todo per stikkit. The peeps are just as bad, you can get a feed for them but the data is free form so phone numbers are not enclosed in any meaningful tag enclosure.
Nice set of instructions to build your own binding system.
Make handy little binders, for the kids or for a more permanent pocketmod.
Pocketmod:
Pros – Can add more pages.
Cons – Takes a more time to intially create.
